More conceptual designs for my "desert project". My least favorite part of the illustration is the tortoise, actually. I'll try to design some more on the side. I really like the scenery. :>
desert tortoises: hardy creatures, these reptiles can survive most odds including droughts, famines and severe sandstorms. their shells are unique to the individual, although usually adhereing to a pattern of a spiral, spot, or zig-zag design. there have been reports of tortoises living for over 200 years, but are not proven factually. |

Tortoises and snakes are both some of my favourite animals, so I can't really pick favourites between them.
